Working Holiday Visa in Australia
- The benefit of this Visa is that you can supplement the cost of a holiday and work in Australia. You are able to come and go from Australia as many times as you like during the validity of the visa.
- Available to 18 to 30 year olds. Applicants must have turned 18 when applying.
- Allows the nurses to work for up to 6 months with one employer. The Visa is valid for 12 months. This allows the nurses to travel around Australia and work in a few different places.
- The Visa is valid to Countries who participate in the working holiday program with Australia. If you hold a passport in Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Republic of Ireland, HKSAR, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom and USA you may be eligible.
- Application is completed online www.immi.gov.au and the cost for the (subclass 417) is approx AUS $185 and may take around 8 weeks to be granted.
- You may study or train for a period of 4 months on this Visa.
- Dependants are not permitted to work on this Visa
- Medicals must be completed for this Visa.
